well none of the players should need any rest

We will need to be careful.

All of their players, to my knowledge, are professional footballers who have 2 feet and 2 arms. Therefore, Moyes will pay them the respect they deserve as any kind of approach to their goal could be catastrophic.

Hopefully we can hold them off and scrape a 0-0 draw and with a stroke of luck, perhaps even grab a winner.

(although I don't expect Moyes to be that cavalier)

It would be typical of West Ham to find a way to fuck this game up.

For any chance of European football again next season we need to be matching Man U point for point from now until the last game of the season and grabbing with both hands any opportunity to leap-frog them in the league.

Can we do it? Who the fuck do you think I am. Bob the Builder???

Worried about this game, Sutton has tipped us winning 2-0.

Theoretically we should absolutely stuff them as they are a terrible team but...

No way should Cresswell start - but he probably will .

Phillips has to be a starter ahead of Soucek or JWP. Both peripheral and Soucek is like tye team in some ways. Has a couple of half decent games and then back to anonymous or stinking the place out . Likewise JWP. At this time, I revkon its JWP that makes way.

The other thing that will backfire is bringing Cresswell back in. We are an old and slow team and Cresswell makes it even worse. I would play Aguerd at LB but thats too radical I know.

I suspect we wont find this easy as some might think. They will dominate possession but like Freiberg lack a cutting edge but our defence with Zouma and Cresswell looks very dodgy.

I would like him to to with the following. Not ideal and largely the same players but he only uses 13 or 14 so limited on changing things :-(

———- Areola
Coufal —-Stavros— Ogbonna — Aguerd
————- Alvarez ———Phillips
Kudus——— Soucek — Paqueta
—————- Bowen ————-

We can't risk alvarez getting booked on sunday as we will need him against villa.

I agree that Phillips should start. A couple of weeks ago I would have been quick to say that Soucek should make way but now I would drop JWP, who seems to have gone right off the boil after a really good first half of the season. If Cresswell is in at LB I would play Aguerd as left-sided CB - his pace will be needed to make up for Cresswell.

Areola
Coufal
Mavro
Aguerd
Cresswell
Phillips
Soucek
Alvarez
Bowen
Kudus
Paqueta

I would start Antonio and give Bowen a break. Phillips will start, hopefully for the pointless JWP. Dreading seeing old man Cresswell out there with his perfect barnet. Leave Zouma at home.

We're shit, but they are diabolical.

2-0

I would also like to see Phillips and Antonio start. Don't care if Phillips replaces Soucek or JWP.

I fear Moyes will go as full strength as possible.. Oh and Burnley yet to win this year.

Thanks, Charley.

"Oh and Burnley yet to win this year." Words of impending doom.

I think he will want Antonio up front for the freiburg game, so might just give him a half an hour today.

Burnley are too shit surely, to beat us....you would think

Antonio up front for the Freiburg game?

I can't see that, they'll sit deep and doubt we'll be hitting them on the break.

Just watched Moyes press conference and if you’re not one of his favourites he really is the most disrespectful cunt. Still calling Aguerd Nathan Agard. Snaky spineless cowardly cunt.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Burnley- Official Match Thread - Preview
We should win this with ease but with Moyes and his bottle job tactics I think we will draw and then draw against Freiburg capping off a fucking diabolical season. Get that cunt out of the club ASAP. Fucking loser.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Burnley- Official Match Thread - Preview
Think I agree we will end up with nothing this season but an upper half finish in the league.

Whole league form has “Stuttered” where we get a couple of wins, some seemed very fortunate, and then some defeats and some very heavy. We are so slow and old as a team and reflect our manager really. He is old in his thinking and slow to change anything.

Really the Conference cup win has masked the reality of us being a mediocre and at best mid table side. Now compared to the yearly relegation struggles or actual relegation of previous years its an improvement until you look at the levels of investment in players.

And in the end thats the biggest problem. Investing in too many older slow experienced players on high wages and not starting to create a squad with younger players. We have the oldest and slowest team and squad.

Steidten needs to have full control and a coach aligned in terms of the way we play. Moyes has been a good interim manager but his time is up if we want to create something that we can sustain for the longer term.

Our same players from Thurs will be expected to play againsf a fresher Burnley side. It will be more difficult than many expect especially if he picks Cresswell, Zouma and both JWP/ Soucek in midfield. Draw

Blooming doom merchants.
We will beat Burnley, because we are the better team and they really are pretty crap.
We will beat Freiburg, because we've done it before against Sevilla and Lyon.
(not confident about the 2nd prediction)
Sorry to be so positive Manuel
(not really at all sorry)
If you do not see it like that, I recommend that a few lunch time vermouths and very little food will help your positivity.
